12 players of the Wild Boars soccer team from Chiang Rai, Thailand visit the American day-time talk show. The boys made international headlines after they were trapped — and later successfully rescued — from a flooded cave for 18 days.

Recounting their experience, the boys explain how they remained calm and positive with prayer and meditation until their successful rescue. Each rescue took approximately eight hours but they have trouble remembering the process because they were sedated.

Four of the young soccer players spent their birthday trapped in the cave. Although they didn’t celebrate at the time, you can be sure their friends and families had plenty to celebrate after their safe returns home.
