Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian met Uganda’s president, Yoweri Museveni, as the pair visited the East African nation on Monday.
West, 41, gifted the leader, 74, a pair of white sneakers, with Museveni thanking the rapper on social media.
He shared pics of the trio’s meeting:
They’re thought to have discussed promoting tourism and arts during their chat.
West and Kardashian, 37, have been staying in a national park in Uganda, with clips of a tent that’s seemingly been set up for the musician to work on his upcoming album doing the rounds online.
West’s latest LP, titled Yandhi, is scheduled to be released on Nov. 28.
The pics come after the controversial rapper spoke to TMZ about his Uganda trip.
West, who recently hit headlines once again after having lunch with Donald Trump, told the publication that he needed to “grab the soil” so fans could “hear nature” in his album.
