In an Instagram post on Monday, the 48-year-old real-estate speculator posted a photo of himself next to a “Flipping Out” poster emblazoned with such handwritten comments as “contract expired,” “your 15 minutes are up,” and “11 years of hell.”
According to People, Lewis appeared on a recent edition of Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM radio show and predicted that his contract with Bravo — set to expire on Oct. 15 — would not be renewed because of the controversy that’s engulfed the show in recent months due to a lawsuit filed against him by the surrogate mother of his child and a major rift with co-star Jenni Pulos.
“Because of all of the issues that have been going on with me — you know, the pending lawsuits, and also [his SiriusXM] radio show — it has created a lot of problems for me at Bravo, because I have talked about behind-the-scenes, I’ve talked about contracts. So I’ve had a lot of heat from Bravo,” Lewis said.
“They have not renewed my contract,” he added. “It expires on Oct. 15, and I am looking for a job.”
In September, Lewis revealed that he and Pulos hadn’t spoken in months after she filed a workplace harassment report against him, accusing him of “abuse and victimization” (he denies her allegations).
In addition, he and husband Gage Edward are being sued by the surrogate who carried their daughter, now 2. The woman alleges the birth was filmed for “Flipping Out” without her consent.
