Post Malone is teaming up with Omaze to gift one lucky fan with a shiny new Bentley, and to promote his new charitable endeavour he went deep undercover in a record store to pose as an employee named Skyler.
In a video of his Omaze prank, it’s obvious that the “Psycho” rapper is pretty recognizable thanks to his numerous face tattoos; in fact, the first person he encounters identifies him in a matter of seconds.
However, despite his distinctive look he does manage to fool a few shoppers, including telling a bearded fellow he’s an aspiring rapper and asking him to read some of his lyrics. The customer’s assessment of Malone’s raps: “You need more Jesus.”
Malone also chats with a woman who tells him she’s an accountant. “No way,” he declares. “That’s what I want to do. I know I have a little unconventional look but it’s 2018, there’s a whole new age of accountants, I think.”
After explaining to numerous shoppers that Post Malone’s music “sucks,” he trips and falls while carrying a stack of records, and gets faux-fired — leading to an epic take-this-job-and-shove-it exit.
