Javier Bardem would have no problem starring in another Woody Allen movie.
Speaking during a masterclass at the Lumiere Film Festival in France on Monday, the actor, who previously worked with Allen in 2008’s “Vicky Christina Barcelona”, said he would do so again despite sexual molestation accusations against the director.
“He’s a genius,” Bardem explained, according to Variety. “I would work with him tomorrow.”
Allen has been accused by his ex-wife Mia Farrow and adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow of molesting the latter as a child.
“Today, 11 years later, it is the same accusation,” Bardem said. “Public accusations are very dangerous. If some day there is a trial and it’s proven to be true, I would change my opinion, but at this moment, nothing has changed.”
