Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie Ventura have reportedly split.
Combs, 48, and Ventura, 32, who were thought to have been together for over six years, have allegedly gone their separate ways, but have decided to stay friends.
A source told People: “The decision was amicable and they remain friends. Cassie is going to focus on her music and acting career.”
The news comes after Ventura gushed to Madame Noire about her relationship back in 2013, “Just being around him is a completely inspiring experience. The key to maintaining any relationship, be it a romantic relationship or a friendship, is honesty and communication.”
The pair have worked together on numerous occasions, including on Diddy’s 2008 song “Swagga Like Puff” and Ventura’s 2009 track “Must Be Love”.
They first met in the early 2000s, but the couple only went public with their romance in 2012.
Despite nothing being confirmed as of yet, insiders told lovebscott.com that Diddy has recently been dating 26-year-old model Jocelyn Chew.
Diddy has six children – sons Quincy Brown, 27, Justin, 24, Christian, 20, twin girls D’Lila Star and Jessie James, and daughter Chance, all 11 – with former partners Misa Hylton-Brim, Kimberly Porter and Sarah Chapman.
ET Canada has contacted both Diddy and Ventura’s reps for comment.
