Scripted Comedy Series Inspired By ‘Property Brothers’ Memoir In Development

The “Property Brothers” are huge on reality TV, but now they may be coming to the scripted space.

According to Variety, a new single-camera comedy featuring HGTV Canada‘s sibling stars Jonathan and Drew Scott is in development at Fox.

Titled “It Takes Two”, the series is reportedly inspired by the brothers’ recent memoir, and will follow the Vancouver-born twins as they decide to enter the real estate business together.

The series is being written and executive produced by brothers Jon and Josh Silberman, who have previously written for “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and penned the screenplay for an upcoming comedy about Roadrunner nemesis Wile E. Coyote.

The Scott brothers will also be executive producers on the series.

“Property Brothers” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV Canada.
