Chelsea Handler wants everyone to do “just a little bit more” by going to the polls.

The comedian and TV personality is on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Thursday, and she has a lot to say about the state of politics.

“I find it really, really unsettling that that’s the president of our country,” Handler says of Donald Trump’s recent interview on “60 Minutes”.

But Handler doesn’t want anyone to despair but rather, to go out and vote.

“There is a really beautiful moment happening with groups, with women coming together,” she says. “Finally women holding each other’s hands and saying, ‘I don’t care where you’re from.'”

Handler also describes her feelings on the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court after he was accused of sexual assault.

“There’s no way under the sun that this can happen under today’s society,” she recalls thinking before his confirmation. “And for it to happen is just representative of white male power to me. It just looks like a bunch of older white turtles and men who are 85-plus saying, ‘Women, you don’t get a voice.'”

DeGeneres also takes the opportunity of having Handler on the show to give her a big scare.

While discussing Handler’s dating life, DeGeneres gets her to use the word “braces,” at which point a man wearing fake braces jumps out of the side table next to them.

“The hair on my arms is standing up,” Handler admits, laughing.
