Stephen Colbert has a great new ad to pitch Destination Canada.
The ad starts with a narrator promoting all the great wonders of Canada: the scenery, the cities, and, of course, the moose.
“So visit today, because who knows if we’ll be here tomorrow,” the narrator says, slowly spiralling into an existential crisis. “You know, like, life’s so fleeting, like maple syrup oozing through an hourglass. It’s all some sort of cosmic plan that we can’t comprehend.
“Wait, what was this an ad for again?” the narrator asks. “Oh yeah, come to Canada… for some reason.”
Canada legalized the use of weed for adults on Oct. 17.
