The ‘La Llorona’ Folktale Comes To Life In New Horror Film ‘The Curse of La Llorona’

Linda Caredellini stars in the terrifyingly eerie horror film “The Curse of La Llorona”.

From “Annabelle”, “The Conjuring” and “The Nun” creator, James Wan, the brand new trailer sends viewers right into the frightening Mexican folktale “La Llorona”.

“La Llorona” is a legend about a woman who lost her children and now wanders the streets crying, bringing danger to those who encounter her.

The flick is set in the 1970s and sees Caredellini as a social worker and mother-of-two. But after running into La Llorona, Caredellini is forced to hire a dispirited priest to put an end to the curse.

The upcoming flick co-stars Raymond Cruz, Patricia Velasquez and Marisol Ramirez.
