The first Actors of the night were handed out to “Orange Is The New Black”; star Uzo Aduba and “Transparent”; star Jeffrey Tambor, who were awarded Outstanding Actress and Actor, respectively, in a comedy series.

SAG Award winners Viola Davis and Kevin Spacey took to the stage once again this year for repeats of their 2015 wins. Taking home the Actor for Best Actress In A Drama Series, Davis deliver yet another emotional and poignant speech, which included nod to her “How To Get Away With Murder,”; and calling the experience the pleasure of her life.

Big winner of the night, Idris Elba, nabbed two Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday. The British actor was voted Best actor in a TV movie (Luther)  and Best Actor in a Supporting (Beasts Of No Nation).

As expected, Leonardo DiCaprio graciously accepted the Best Actor in a Leading Role statue. The Oscar shoe-in offered words of inspiration to the young actors of today and thanked his own icons for their endless source of motivation.

The final award of the night was handed out to the star-studded cast of Spotlight, making it a strong contender for Best Picture during next month’s Academy Awards.
