Actor Ricky Schroder was criticized on Instagram this week after posting a snap of himself carrying the leg of an elk over his shoulder.
The 48-year-old, who shot to fame as a child on the sitcom “Silver Spoons”, boasted about his successful hunting trip in the caption.
He shared: “Looks like Elks for dinner! #caveman #meat #thankful.”
The photo was labelled as sensitive content by Instagram.

It looks like Schroder has been on a hunting trip to Wolf, Wyoming for the past few days, with him sharing numerous other images from the outing.
The Elk pic sparked quite the social media reaction, with one person complaining: “I respect you as an actor but on a human level you have disappointed me.”
Another asked, “Do you seriously hunt for sport? @rickyschroder”
One person commented: “Because there’s no more meat at the supermarket you had to go to the mountain and kill a wild animal that did NOTHING to deserve it? @rickyschroder that’s what an a**hole does.”
