Katy Perry liked Taylor Swift’s recent Instagram post about politics and she’s now spoken further about the “Bad Blood” star finally voicing her views.
Perry, 33, who has definitely had an up and down relationship with Swift, 28, over the years, was asked about the hitmaker as she appeared at the amfAR Gala in Los Angeles Thursday.
Perry, who has been known to voice her own political views, told Variety, “She’s setting a great example.”
Perry and Swift finally ended their long-running feud before the start of Swift’s Reputation world tour, after Perry sent the “Love Story” star an olive branch and a letter to build the peace.

The “Roar” musician’s comments come after Swift shared earlier this week, “In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now, I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.”
