When it comes to safety, Kendall Jenner doesn’t plan on taking any risks.
According to TMZ, the 22-year-old model filed for and received a temporary restraining order against 37-year-old Canadian John Ford on Friday.
Earlier this week, Ford was placed on psychiatric hold after he scaled the unsecured mountainside that led to her home.
Jenner’s security guards found him sitting on her front porch, where he was quickly arrested by the police.
In a declaration obtained by TMZ, Kendall stated that she was at home when Ford rang her doorbell at 6:30 a.m.
“The fact that he has continued to come to my home – despite all of my efforts to get him to stop – scares me,” Jenner said in the statement.
The model also expressed that his “repeated stalking” has caused her to suffer from emotional distress.
This incident marks the third time that Ford has trespassed onto Kendall’s property. He had been arrested in September for the same thing, and a criminal protective order was issued to keep him out of the gated community.
Ford, who has been ordered by a judge to stay at least 100 yards away from Jenner and her home, is being held on $56,000 bail.
