Hailey Baldwin is looking to cash in on the attention surrounding her relationship with new husband Justin Bieber.
The model filed documents to take the “Baby” singer’s last name commercially, according to papers obtained by The Blast on Friday. Baldwin filed the trademark “Hailey Bieber” under her company Rhodedeodato Corp.
Baldwin, 21, and Bieber, 24, reconnected earlier this year and suddenly got engaged in July. The two are seemingly married, but they have yet to publicly announce their union.
The couple reportedly told Nona Melkoni they were married when Melkoni spotted them at Joan’s on Third in Studio City, California, on Tuesday. Baldwin and Bieber “simultaneously said yes,” when asked by the restaurantgoer, Us Weekly says.
“They were both very happy and kind,” Melkoni said. “He told me that she’s his angel. They were super sweet!”
Bieber called Baldwin his “wife” on Sept. 13, but Baldwin said the next day the two were not yet married.
