Country Legend Loretta Lynn Back Home After Being Hospitalized For ‘Serious’ Health Issues

Loretta Lynn is struggling with her health.

The iconic “Coal Minor’s Daughter” is suffering from a serious health scare, her relative Michael Lynn shared on Saturday.

“I am very sad to report this morning that the Queen of Country Music, Ms. Loretta Lynn has had some setbacks in her recovery and is back in the hospital with some serious issues,” he wrote on Facebook. “She needs our prayers right now, and the one thing I do know for sure is that she is a fighter and will not go down easy. PLEASE pray today for her.”

News of her well-being may shed light on why Lynn pulled out of the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year event earlier this week. She was scheduled to be honoured at the event.

On Saturday, WKRN’s Josh Breslow reported that Lynn had returned home after “a brief hospital stay.”

Lynn, 86, has had a number of health scares in the past several years. She suffered a stroke last May and broke her hip in 2016. Best of luck to Lynn on a speedy recovery.
