Kim Kardashian discussed everything from that horrific Paris robbery to her husband Kanye West’s controversial political views as she appeared on “The Alec Baldwin Show” Sunday.
The interview aired on the reality TV star’s 38th birthday and she didn’t hold back as Baldwin chatted to her about some of the most talked-about moments in her life.
Kardashian shared, “My life has definitely changed a lot in the last two years.”
She added of the moment she was robbed of almost $10 million worth of jewellery at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room in Oct. 2016, “For a good year, I almost lost myself. I was never depressed, but I wasn’t motivated to get up and work like I used to. It shook me.
“There was a lot of me that measured who I was by how much I had. I thought, ‘Oh, I’m worth so much.’ That needed to change in me.”
Despite the whole thing leaving her traumatized, Kardashian insisted that she’s now “grateful for the experience.”
She shared, according to E! News: “Even though it was horrific and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone, it really did deeply change me to where now I feel like I can get back to myself.
“I felt like I was living in a bubble, and that opened me up to so much.”
Kardashian, who said that she now has “24/7 security,” also spoke about her husband Kanye West in the tell-all chat and his constant support for Donald Trump.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star explained, “I let him be who he wants to be. I let him have his own views and opinions, even if they’re different from mine.”
Insisting her household always had different political views when she was growing up, Kardashian added of her other half: “[We] definitely have conversations if I don’t understand something in private and talk about that.”
Sunday’s interview also saw Kardashian discuss seeing her dad, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce, dressed as a woman for the first time, as well as insisting Alice Marie Johnson, who she famously got out of prison, would still be locked up if it wasn’t for West voicing his support for Trump.
