The singer performed his hit “Happy” at the hospital’s “From Paris with Love” gala Saturday night, and brought nine-year-old Eliana Georges, a patient at the hospital, on stage to dance with him.

In video from the event, Georges tells Williams she loves him, and then asks for a moment with him. He turns off his mic so their words are inaudible. The singer then tears up and gives the little girl a hug.

Georges spoke to ABC7’s Eyewitness News at the event, telling them her dreams for the future.

“I want to be a baby nurse, a doctor, a singer, an actress,” she said.

The event, which raised $5.5 million for the hospital, also honoured celebrity guests Jimmy Kimmel and LA Dodgers announcer Vin Scully.
