Pauly Shore is best known from his heyday in the 1990s, thanks to his ubiquitous appearances on MTV and starring roles in such big-screen comedies as “Encino Man” and “Bio-Dome”.
So what’s “the Weasel” been up to lately? Up to no good, according to a new trailer for upcoming short film “Sin City Psycho”, which features Shore in the role of the titular serial killer.
In a brief trailer for the 11-minute film, Shore’s character is chatting with a clearly terrified young woman, taking the occasional break to breathe from an apparent tank of nitrous oxide, not unlike Dennis Hopper’s equally psychotic character in “Blue Velvet”.
Shore plays a dude named Donavan, who apparently murders those who cheat on their spouses, giving a creepy new spin to the phrase, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
“In ‘Sin City Psycho’, driven to madness, Donavan preys on Sin City’s unfaithful flock by tangling them into a web of torture where broken vows could mean broken bones,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Along with his sister Ione, this deranged vigilante justifies the horrors in his wake with the illusions in his head and shows those willing to cheat on their loving spouses that everything that happens in Vegas, slays in Vegas. However, after he lures Tiffany (Sharon Gardner) into his deadly web, Donavan finds the next sin to face judgement may just be his very own.”
“Sin City Psycho” is available to watch in its entirety for free on Shore’s YouTube channel.
