The feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B took a new turn over the weekend when Cardi’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, claimed the rapper’s phone number was leaked by Minaj.
In screenshots she posted online, Carolina alleged that Minaj had spread Cardi’s number across her fan pages, sparking harassment and even death threats.
“Ya asking why I’m beefing with a fan base but ya not asking why someone with so much influence would use their influence to manipulate their fans to spread so much negativity and hate!” Carolina wrote on Instagram.
“She leaked my sister’s number to her fan pages the same shit she did to Mariah Lynn,” she continued. “It’s easy for y’all to ask me why I’m bothered, why I care so much. But not one of you is waking up to death threats every day, made up stories that can effect my real life and real relationships. Imagine if this was your infant child, imagine if this was your sister or ya mother.”
According to The Shade Room, Carolina then got into a back-and-forth with Minaj’s friend Rah Ali over comments about her sister, prompting Ali to threaten her physically “like I did your sister.”
In September, Minaj and Cardi’s feud came to physical blows at a party during New York Fashion Week, where Ali allegedly assaulted the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.
On Monday, Minaj addressed the controversy on “Queen Radio”, her show on Beats 1.
“For people who don’t know, Rah Ali beat Cardi’s a** really bad,” she explained. “You went home and told people that security hit you. We told Rah not to say anything for legal reasons.”
Minaj continued, shutting down Carolina’s claims: “She planted a lot of seeds for people not to like me. I’m perfectly fine with not talking about this again. I hear the shots you’re taking. But I’m a rapper, remember that.”
She even put out an offer of $100,000 to anyone who can produce video footage of the alleged altercation.
A few hours later, Cardi clapped back in a series of videos — 10, to be exact — she posted on Instagram. “Why would I be here sitting and lying… knowing that the next day there would be so much footages of that same night?” she asks.
“You lie so much you can’t even keep up with your lies,” she adds, wrapping up her rant by declaring herself to be a “street b**ch” and threatening to get lawyers involved. “Since you wanna talk about suing, maybe I should sue you for defamation of character.” Watch:
