Police Officers Forced To Help PM Ardern, Prince Harry, And Meghan Markle With Huge Flower Bouquet In New Zealand

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle regularly get given flowers during their royal engagements but this fan took things to a whole new level.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now in New Zealand as part of their royal tour, with Auckland their final stop.

Clearly keen to get the duo’s attention, one well-wisher handed Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern a ginormous floral arrangement. However, when she struggled to hold it, two police officers were called upon to carry the bouquet away, no doubt to be handed over to the royals.

The latest news comes after Meghan and Harry took part in a gumboot-throwing competition on Monday, with the duchess beating her husband to be crowned the royal winner.

The former “Suits” star was awarded a gumboot trophy for her efforts (which one of her teammates, 10-year-old Ryen Anderson, got to keep). The couple, who are expecting their first child next year, were also gifted an adorable pair of tiny, bright-green gumboots for their baby.

Meghan and Harry, who have also visited Tonga, Fiji, and Australia on the tour, will return to London later this week.
