Just when we thought the feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B was settling down a little, in comes designer Steve Madden.
After Cardi brought up the fact she’d reportedly turned down numerous deals which had been offered to her first before the company turned to Minaj, the “Anaconda” hitmaker then waded in to say the same thing happened with Madden.
Madden, who announced his collection Curated by Cardi in December 2017, then replied to say:
However, Minaj being Minaj, she obviously didn’t take kindly to such comments.
Madden eventually admitted he shouldn’t have got involved, to which Minaj hit back: “Eat a d**k n***a. You lied on me cuz it was the trendy thing 2 do! Ain’t nobody buyin that clown s**t. (sic)”
She also mentioned 50 Cent’s Instagram post, in which he brought up an old interview that saw Madden actually say he’d wanted to work with Minaj. Iggy Azalea jumped to the rapper’s defence, as well.
The heated Twitter exchange comes after Cardi said in one of her many rants: “You out here saying that I’m trying to stop your bag, right? But I’m actually helping you get a bag.
“Because that Diesel deal that you got, yeah that came to me first and I had to decline it because I’m already working with fashion brands, you know, which y’all gonna see cause there’s more than just Fashion Nova.”
