Meghan Markle’s royal-tour wardrobe has had everybody talking over the past two weeks, with many wondering how much all of those lavish ensembles really set her team back.
According to Hello!, the 37-year-old, whose outfits cost everything from around C$3,000 to a measly $74, racked up a total bill from $196,00 to $200,000.
The publication reported the total cost of brand new items, including designs by New Zealand’s Maggie Marilyn and Australia’s Martin Grant, totalled around $109,000.
It then added that Markle reused items worth around $87,000 but spent a whopping $99,000 on jewellery from Pippa Small, Birks, and others.
Hello! pointed out the duchess packed “light” in terms of her shoes, wearing designs from Manolo Blahnik, Aquazzura, and Tabitha Simmons, totalling around $11,000.
It also said she’d spent about $9,600 on bags, from Prada, Gucci, and Christian Dior; and the rest of her clothes cost a huge $77,000.
Markle wore a total of 40 outfits over the course of the 16-day period, with the number of brands worn with items under $335 being just 14.
The former “Suits” star is also said to have worn 15 items gifted her by the Royal Family, with her single most expensive item — a necklace designed by British jeweller Jessica McCormack — allegedly being around $22,900.
Markle and Prince Harry have visited Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji on their jam-packed royal tour and will return to London on Nov. 1.
