Samantha Bee is the patriarchy’s worst nightmare.
The “Full Frontal” host kicked off the Halloween edition of her show with a modern twist on a Macbeth scene.
Bee, Ashley Nicole Black and Allana Harkin dressed up as witches and stood around a boiling cauldron. The trio collected very particular trophies from men. Hint: when attached the body part resides below the hips and above the knees.
“Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and caldron bubble,” the three witches chanted with a nightmare-inducing cackle. They proceed to take turns dropping blurred out “items” into the cauldron.
The rest of the episode was no less scary but far more real. Wednesday’s episode of “Full Frontal” was “actually an all-boo episode because nothing is scarier than our current reality,” Bee said. “We’ll be checking in on America’s horrifying history of antisemitism and, though it is Halloween, we’ll be covering the white supremacists who choose to wear their sheets year round.”
Bee will celebrate the 100th episode of “Full Frontal” before the end of 2018.
