From being an action star in “Mile 22” to jumping into a sweet comedy like “Instant Family”, Mark Wahlberg seems to have every genre of film under his belt.
So, is it time for him to get back to his music roots?
It’s been 25 years since “Marky Mark” was nominated for a Grammy for his song “You Gotta Believe”. After he was spotted hanging out with Drake last month, could the former Funky Bunch singer be eyeing a collaboration?
Wahlberg sat down with ET Canada’s Roz Weston to dish on everything related to his chat with Drizzy.
“We were at my house talking about stuff for the ‘Entourage’ movie in the past but there is definitely some stuff for the future. Him being in front of the camera and film,” he said.
However, it doesn’t seem like the 47-year-old will be hitting the studio with Drake any time soon, but if Post Malone, Justin Bieber, Nas, or Jay-Z were to join him, Mark says he would be ready — and so would his “Instant Family” co-star, Rose Byrne.
“I’m so ready, are you kidding me?” Byrne, 39, exclaims. “We want to see it happen.”

From having Seth Rogen play her husband in “Neighbors” to coupling up with Chris O’Dowd in “Juliet, Naked”, Byrne now plays Wahlberg’s wife in the upcoming comedy “Instant Family”. But with so many amazing on-screen husbands, how does the “Patriots Day” star rank in when it comes to compatibility?
“I don’t kiss and tell!” she expresses. “Well, Mark’s definitely the most in shape.”
