Bethenny Frankel is not one for turning the other cheek, and the on-again, off-again “Real Housewives of New York City” star proved it once again when some online trolls took issue with her sexy Halloween costume.
On Halloween, the 47-year-old shared a few photos of herself wearing skimpy white lingerie and feathered angel wings, a costume inspired by the Victoria’s Secret Angels.
“Heaven sent,” read her caption for one of the pics.
The haters quickly came out of the woodwork, with some criticizing Frankel for wearing a costume that was inappropriate for her age.
“Little old for trashy costumes,” read one comment, while another chimed in, “You have a great figure but Maybe something a bit more age appropriate?”
Meanwhile, another comment apparently accused her of being disrespectful to the memory of Frankel’s ex-boyfriend Dennis Shields, who died of a reported drug overdose in August: “Considering your recent loss I am questioning why you would think this costume is in good taste????”
Frankel issued a scathing response in the comments section of one of the posts: “For those haters, I suppose that monetizing reality TV is not the only good idea that the Kardashians and I have shared simultaneously,” she began, referring to the “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” siblings also dressing up like VS Angels.
“For those who bash theirs or my body, go hate somewhere else. We are mothers and daughters and I chose those very polarizing ruffle boy shorts thus opting to not show my vagina this Halloween. I’m in my late 40s. This is my God given body with no receipts attached (a breast lift 12 years ago notwithstanding) to it. Perhaps next year I will go pantyless & await more constructive comments,” she continued.
“To the rest of you, I had the best Halloween ever, trick or treating with my peanut then dancing w my ladies. XO,” she concluded.
