Cole Sprouse Reveals His ‘Friends’ Childhood Crush, Tells Stephen Colbert What Drew Him To ‘Riverdale’

Cole Sprouse discussed everything from taking a break from acting to his love of Jennifer Aniston when he appeared on Thursday’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”.

The 26-year-old, who kicked off his acting career alongside his twin brother Dylan when they were just eight months old, was just eight when he starred on “Friends” as Ben Geller.

As Colbert showed the audience a picture of the youngster with co-star Aniston, Sprouse gushed: “That’s when I fell in love with her, yeah,” to which the talk-show host replied: “You had a crush on Jennifer Aniston?”

Sprouse quipped, “Didn’t everybody? I remember feeling so, so intimidated by my crush on her that I completely blanked and forgot every single one of my lines, and she just stared at me and was waiting.”

The actor, who took a five-year break from the industry to study archaeology, was also asked about what drew him to the role of Jughead Jones in “Riverdale”.
