Betty Sue’s Family Farm, as the property is known, was owned by Depp’s mother Betty Sue Palmer before she passed away in 2016.
The 40-acre farm includes a six-bedroom home, along with stables for up to a dozen horses, only a couple of miles away from Keeneland race track.
Originally put on the market in 2016 after Palmer’s death for $3.3 million, the house has undergone a few price reductions, first to $2.8 million and now all the way down to $1.6 million.
According to Forbes, the reason for the difficulty in selling the property comes down to the house being quite modest and only one level.
