“Anyone of my age knows that days pass at a far greater speed than when they were young,” Charles told the magazine. “But in my case, there are so many things that need to be done.”

The photos in the magazine were taken by Alexi Lubomirski, who also shot Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official engagement photos.

“As soon as they looked at each other, there was a sparkle in their eyes—that’s when the magic happened,” Lubomirski said of Charles and Camilla. “You feel like they are a young couple in love.”

Over the years, Charles has become passionate about the issue of climate change, saying it keeps him “awake at night.”

“I don’t really see any value in saying, ‘I told you so,’” he said. “As a teenager, I remember feeling deeply about this appallingly excessive demolition job being done on every aspect of life.
