It looks like Wesley Snipes is going to have to pay his back taxes after all.
This week a U.S. tax court judge ordered the actor to pay $9.5 million in tax payments he avoided in the late 1990s and early 2000s, according to Complex.
Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison in 2008 for not filing federal income taxes, owing more than $23 million.
In the decade since, he reduced the amount owed to the IRS to around $9.5 million but was still trying to avoid paying.
Snipes had offered the IRS a payment of close to $850,000 to settle the debt but the offer was rejected. The judge upheld the IRS rejection of the settlement given the disparity between the offer and the amount owed.
The judge also ruled that the $9.5 million amount would not leave Snipes broke, though it is not clear publicly what his current financial status is.
