Beyoncé, Coldplay and Bruno Mars took the Super Bowl 50 halftime stage by storm and even included a touching throwback to many of the performers from past Super Bowls — but not all of them.

Showing clips of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Katy Perry, The Black Eyed Peas and more, the halftime montage did not include Janet Jackson, whose infamous boob-baring “wardrobe malfunction”; made Super Bowl 38 both memorable and controversial.
While Jackson hasn’t commented on what appears to be a clearly deliberate omission, her sister LaToya took to Twitter to defend her sister’s back, tweeting:

In addition to her exposed breast, Janet’s performance included Diddy, Nelly and Kid Rock, with Justin Timberlake joining her on “Rock Your Body.”;
