Ariana Grande Reveals Iconic Ponytail Causes Her ‘Constant Pain’

Ariana Grande suffers for her iconic ponytail.

In an exchange with singer Camila Cabello on Twitter, the 25-year-old revealed that wearing her hair in an upright ponytail is a painful proposition.

On Sunday, Cabello tweeted that she tried the hairstyle herself for the first time but found it intensely painful, asking Grande how she does it.

Grande responded:

Cabello had worn the ponytail at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday but found the experience so painful she actually had to let her hair down later in the evening.

Fans of the two singers delighted at their Twitter exchange about the pain of women’s hairstyles, with one joking that the pain from the ponytail might be how Grande is able to “reach high notes.”
