Cardi B has already taken the music world by storm; now she’ll be making “money moves” in the fashion industry with a new Reebok sneaker collaboration.
On November 2, the “I Like It” rapper announced her partnership with the sporting goods giant.
In an Instagram post, the 26-year-old can be seen sporting the ’90s throwback Aztrek sneaker — a style that follows the current ‘dad shoe’ trend.
In a statement about their upcoming collab, Reebok says that “everything that you love about Cardi is what you love about Reebok.”
“Reebok has a longstanding legacy of nonconformity, whether it’s creating the first workout shoe exclusively for women or putting bold-faced [sic] expletives and fresh-faced hip-hop stars in its big ad campaigns in the early ’00s,” the apparel company added.
The Bronx rapper joins a number of other high-profile women who have partnered with Reebok, including Gigi Hadid, Ariana Grande, and “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot.
