Tim McGraw’s latest music video brings together some unlikely characters for a colourful, spiritual night out at a bar.
In the appropriately neon-lit video for his song “Neon Church”, a sheriff, preacher and drifter join a single mom at a bar to drink and dance their sorrows away.
In a tribute to the 1987 film “Wings of Desire”, they end up trading those sorrows away for angel wings.
“Neon Church” is one of two songs McGraw released last month in anticipation of his upcoming album, his first solo record since Damn Country Music in 2015.
The singer’s last album was 2017’s The Rest of Our Lives, which featured the country superstar singing with his wife Faith Hill.
