The eighth instalment of The Fast and the Furious franchise wants to lead with a “force to be reckoned with”; star that may just be Charlize Theron.
After demonstrating her action-movie cred Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadline reports that screenwriter Gary Scott Thompson wants to add a “fierce female villain into the scrip,”; with Theron envisioned for the role.

The script is still in the works, and sources add that Theron, 40, has yet to have been approached or get a feel for the upcoming film.
But there are no worries the next movie will become a boy’s club; Fast and Furious alum Michelle Rodriguez is expected to return for Furious 8.
