Eddie Redmayne talks about being a father of two during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Tuesday.
The 36-year-old, who has been busy promoting his new movie “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”, admits he hasn’t been getting a lot of sleep as he’s asked by DeGeneres, 60, about his kids: Iris, 2, and seven-month-old Luke.
The British actor says, “I’ve been promoting ‘Fantastic Beasts’, and people keep going, ‘What spell would you dream of doing?’ And I’m, like, ‘Literally just a two-hour sleep spell.’ People suggest gin.”
DeGeneres then asks, “For you or the baby?” to which Redmayne replies, “Both.”
Tuesday’s appearance also sees the star identify various items using only his tongue after DeGeneres mentions that his character Newt Scamander licks a sidewalk in the movie.
Redmayne licks broccoli, a troll, and a flute, winning each audience member tickets to the “Fantastic Beasts” premiere.
Redmayne’s “Ellen” interview comes after he spoke to ET Canada about all things “Fantastic Beasts” alongside his co-stars Jude Law and Katherine Waterston.
