Burger King isn’t just home of the Whopper, it’s also the home of some Grade-A, flame-broiled trolling.
The fast-food chain expertly roasted Kanye West on Twitter after he tweeted his love of Burger King rival McDonald’s.
The account for the UK’s restaurants had the perfect response to Ye in a tweet that has since gone viral.
The savage tweet comes after a string of erratic behaviour from the Chicago rapper and his support of Donald Trump, followed by the recent announcement he is now distancing himself from politics.
It’s not the first time West has shared his love of fast-food chains.
In 2016, he penned a poem called “The McDonald’s Man” for a magazine that accompanied Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry. It reads, in part:
Them french fries look good though
I knew the Diet Coke was jealous of the fries
I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries
Even the McRib was jealous of the fries
I could see it through his artificial meat eyes
And he only be there some of the time
Everybody was jealous of them french fries
Except for that one special guy
That smooth apple pie”
West also purchased franchise rights to Fatburger and 10 European branches of McDonald’s arch-nemesis, Burger King, as a wedding gift to wife Kim Kardashian.
Though McDonald’s has yet to respond, Burger King’s tweet was met with approval online.
