During a raucous press conference on Wednesday, Trump was asked about claims from several people, including his former attorney Michael Cohen and former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman, that he has made racist remarks in the past.

One of the names mentioned was rapper Lil Jon, who alleged that Trump once called him “Uncle Tom,” to which Trump replied that he doesn’t know who Lil Jon is.

The reporter quickly responded that Lil Jon had in fact be a contestant on the president’s reality TV series. Trump acknowledged the correction, and added, “I don’t use racist remarks.”

Viewers watching the press conference were also surprised at Trump seemingly forgetting he knew Lil Jon, considering that video and images exist of the two embracing at a “Celebrity Apprentice” event in 2013.

Even Omarosa noted how strange it was that Trump couldn’t remember Lil Jon.
