Joni Mitchell made a rare appearance to celebrate her 75th birthday.
The iconic Canadian singer-songwriter has scarcely been seen in public since she suffered a brain aneurysm in 2015. Mitchell was the guest of honour during Night 2 of the “Joni 75” tribute concert on Wednesday.

Mitchell even swayed a little as the performers closed out the show with a cover of her hit song “Big Yellow Taxi”.
Prior to her special celebration on Wednesday, Mitchell was spotted at a James Taylor show in June and at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammys party in 2017.
