Yeezy 3 Extra Lashes Out At Kanye West

During the rapper’s highly anticipated “The Life Of Pablo”; listening party and Yeezy Season 3 reveal in Madison Square Garden on Thursday night, it was hard not to notice the plethora of extras standing just below the center stage. All were dressed in what looked like more of Yeezy Season 3, or maybe 2 – it was hard to tell. But, regardless there were many bodies standing in for the show.

We really thought little of it until one of the extras, who goes by the Instagram handle “kurents”;, went on a social media rant about not getting paid a dime and wearing American Apparel hand-me-downs.

Lmao I was on the megatron at Madison for yeezy 3. shit was trash. Kanye finnessed 1200 young black adults into working as extras for free to a sold out white crowd that was screaming “all day nigga”;. We didn’t find out we weren’t getting paid til 6am. He sent us to jersey and put us in Salvation Army clothes (not yeezy, my pants were carhartt and my shirt was American apparel). I jugged some sambas from wardrobe though.

However, a representative from West’s camp quickly fired shots back, claiming that all extras were paid $10/hour and received a meal ticket for lunch. It was also mentioned that all extras were dressed in Yeezy Season 3 gear, but some did have to wear “vintage clothing”; due to the large interest. All models were, reportedly, also asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement, so it’s unknown if this accuser was telling the truth.
