At the premiere for his movie “Hail, Caesar!”; at the Berlin Film Festival on Thursday, the 35-year-old actor revealed he drinks Runa tea to keep himself feeling awake and energized. He recalls his experience with the Kichwa people in the rainforest to ABC: “They got up before the light and they start brewing Guayusa and they do it to create community and to talk to their young and so their elders can pass on their stories… For me, getting to come here and hear the stories of how they found the plant and these myths of lore and legend and I don’t know, it’s beautiful and people can connect to it.”;

This tea has since become popular across North America. Tyler Gage saw the potential in the tea when he first tried it as a college student eleven years ago in the Amazon, and has since built a company around it called Runa, which now sells the tea to major specialty food stores. With its strong combination of caffeine and antioxidants, Tatum has even invested in the company – clearly, a true believer.
