Adam Driver reportedly became a dad two years ago and managed to keep it a secret from the world.
According to Page Six, the “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” star’s wife of four years, Joanne Tucker, gave birth to a baby boy two years ago. Sources told the publication that family members posted about Tucker’s pregnancy on Instagram.
In one image, Tucker is standing with her sister, who was also pregnant at the time, and the caption reads: “Sisters. Nearly matching everything. #babyshowerx2.”
Another photo, shared by Tucker’s other sister, was captioned “My sisters and new moms.”
Driver’s stardom has risen in the past few years, especially since he took the role as Kylo Ren in the new “Star Wars” movies, and yet despite being in the public eye, the 34-year-old somehow kept his fatherhood a secret.
However, the “Girls” actor has dropped a couple of vague clues in interviews over the past couple of years.
In a 2017 video for W magazine, he said: “I look at my dog — this sounds so absurd — but it’s not. I don’t know if I can love anything more. Like, I have a kid, maybe — and be like, [whatever]. But the dog!”
During another interview, alongside his “Logan Lucky” co-star Channing Tatum, Driver was asked about mixing martinis at parties. “I don’t have parties, because the world is a sad place and full of anger,” he answered.
“Can you imagine you’re just making martinis for your baby,” Tatum interjected.
Driver then riffed: “‘Stop crying. This is my party trick. You’ll have your time. This is me time now.'”
