Ashley Tisdale has released her first new track in 9 years, “Voices in My Head”.

The song is taken from Tisdale’s upcoming album Symptoms, which is her first since 2009’s Guilty Pleasure.

The “High School Musical” star recently spoke out about her new music, according to Teen Vogue, saying: “But kind of the inspiration behind [the album] was, I deal with anxiety, and I’ve dealt with it probably my whole life.

“[I] became super aware of it over the last two years.”

The singer added that she hopes the new album will help others.

Tisdale shared, “If someone at home can turn it on and not feel so alone, that’s all I can do. So I’m pretty excited about it.”
