Judge Judy Sheindlin stops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday to share her secrets on how she keeps herself feeling young at 76-years-old.
The famous daytime TV judge recently celebrated her 76th birthday, but in her eyes, age is just a number.
“People who I know, who are older and spirited, look like they’re having a good time,” Sheindlin tells DeGeneres. “And the people who are older and don’t do anything to keep themselves younger, don’t look like they’re getting the best bang for their buck out of life.”
DeGeneres, who turned 60 earlier this year, agrees with the judge that feeling old is a mindset, admitting that she still feels young, mainly because she’s “immature” and still plays games.
“I feel young, except when I look in a full-length mirror,” Sheindlin jokes, going on to say that while she keeps her body in shape, there has yet to be an invention that “keeps your skin in shape,” referring to her wrinkles.
While on the topic of skincare, the judge sets the record straight about a recent scam that claims she endorsed a skincare product. The people behind the scam have yet to be discovered, but Sheindlin says not to worry, as she is “on the case.”
Later in the show, Sheindlin discusses her long-running court show, “Judge Judy,” which she has hosted since 1996. She tells DeGeneres her contract is up in two and half years, which would take her into the show’s 25th season, and that she still enjoys it.
“This job is an anchor because it gives you someplace to go,” she says.
