Kendall Jenner has been granted a long-term restraining order against a man accused of stalking her, according to The Blast.
A judge has ordered the man, John Ford, to stay at least 100 yards away from the reality star for the next five years. He is not allowed to go near her house or have any direct or indirect contact with her.
As reported by The Blast, at the hearing, the judge referred to the incidents as a “scary situation” and a “true stalking case.”
Ford, a Canadian citizen, was previously hit with eight different counts of misdemeanour trespassing after trying to gain access to Jenner’s home. His continued attempts to break into the property resulted in two separate arrests.
The 23-year-old supermodel filed a civil restraining order against Ford at Los Angeles Superior Court in October after he trespassed onto her property and rang her doorbell.
“There is absolutely no reason for him to be contacting me or coming to my home,” Jenner wrote in her declaration. “The fact that he has continued to come to my home — despite all my efforts to get him to stop — scares me.”
