‘Winter Soldier’ Sebastian Stan Dodges Kimmel’s Questions About Whether He’ll Be The Next Captain America

Sebastian Stan dropped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday to promote his new film “Destroyer”, but the host wanted to know about another of the actor’s roles.

Discussing his character’s “cryptic” fate at the end of “Avengers: Infinity War”, Stan was asked by Kimmel about rumours that he and Anthony Mackie would team up to reprise their roles as Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier and the Falcon, respectively, in a new series for Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+.

“Called ‘Miami Vice,'” joked Stan.

Kimmel pressed on, pointing out that “in the comic books, Bucky becomes Captain America.”

“Yeah,” Stan nods, giving nothing away.

“Has that been discussed with you at all?” Kimmel continues.

“No, not really,” he replies. “It’s usually like a dream, like, people might mention something, but we never go that way.”

“Destroyer” hits theatres on Dec. 25.
