Ariana Grande has a had an emotional past few weeks, and her friends are there to cheer her up.
Following her split from Pete Davidson and the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, the singer is celebrating her uber-successful new track “Thank U, Next”.
According to the Grande’s Twitter and Instagram stories, her very best friends surprised her with a five-piece mariachi band playing the already iconic break-up anthem.
“Yo, I can’t believe my friends got me a mariachi band last night,” the “Sam And Cat” alum, 25, wrote on Twitter. “I think that’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me.”
She continued in a second tweet, writing, “I was also super tipsy and then all of a sudden there was a mariachi band in my backyard. Do you know how insane that is?”
It appears that “Thank U, Next” co-writer Victoria Monet was behind the entire scheme.
Later, Grande shared photos of the surprise performance:
“Thank U, Next” is continuing to go viral; even Canadian cutie Justin Bieber showed some love for the track, tweeting “It’s a bop.”
