Lennon Stella is on the cusp of a major moment.

The 18-year-old is set to release her debut EP, “Love, Me” this Friday – hot on the heals of her hit collaboration with Liam Payne and British dance producer Jonas Blue.

Lennon recently joined Cheryl Hickey in the ET Canada studio, and opened up about working with the former One Direction member. “I was fangirling a little bit when I found out,” she admits, “but he’s so chill that you can’t fangirl around [him].”

But Lennon is also no stranger to the spotlight, growing up on screen as Connie Britton’s daughter on “Nashville”. She and her sister Maisy recently bid a bittersweet goodbye to the series that gave them their big break.

“It’s been weird not having the show, and that transition has been strange,” the Ontario-native reveals. “But I think it happened in like, a perfect time.”

Ready to make her own mark on the music industry, Lennon has released her first single, “Bad” – an autobiographical tale of love gone wrong.

“That’s a very true story actually,” she shares. “It actually was a cheating situation and so – it ended so bad and it’s so unfortunate, and you just wish it wasn’t as good as it was so that you could hate the person so it would be easier to get over.”

When asked if she reached out to the former flame in question prior to dropping the track, Lennon laughs “No!”
