Legendary Quebec Singer Ginette Reno Tops Canadian Charts For Second Week In A Row

The new album from iconic Quebec artist Ginette Reno is reaching incredible heights across the country.

After hitting No. 1 on the Quebec albums chart last month, À Jamais has gone on to top the Canadian albums chart, staying in the top slot for two weeks in a row.

The 72-year-old’s 13-track album has been handily outselling the hugely successful soundtrack from “A Star is Born” by over 30 per cent.

“After all these years, I’m deeply honoured that my album has reached No. 1 across Canada and that my fans are still there to listen to new music,” Reno said in a statement. “I thank each and everyone that has made this possible once again.”

Reno is a recipient of the Order of Canada and is also a Knight of the National Order of Quebec.
