Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl Gives Back To First Responders Fighting California Wildfires

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl gives back to his community ravaged by the California wildfires with his latest act of kindness.

Grohl paid a surprise visit to the firefighters at Fire Station 68 in Calabasas, Calif. on Monday night, cooking various types of barbecue meats for everyone. The musician’s deed is to show appreciation for the local southern California first responders who are risking their lives to put an end to the wildfires the area has been battling.

The deadly blazes have affected areas in Thousand Oaks, Calabasas and Malibu, destroying hundreds of homes with more than 42 confirmed deaths and hundreds missing. The fire is one of the deadliest in Californian history.
